Schools

We have just produced an exciting new set of Citizenship Resources aimed at students in years 9 to 11 that can be downloaded and used within the classroom. This cohesive scheme of work highlighting issues surrounding conflict related poverty includes seven interlinking lessons that are both easy to use and engaging for students.

Free hard copies of our citizenship pack are available. Contact our Schools Prgramme Manager on 020 7916 9276 or schools@warchild.org.uk. The pack contains a CD-Rom, copies of all the teaching resources and series of attention-grabbing posters.

Schools

We are always keen to speak to young people in the UK about the issues we champion and the work that we do. We are currently able to offer visiting speakers to schools within London and the surrounding areas. At the present time we are unable to offer this service beyond these areas but if we get enough requests we may be able to extend this service in the future.   If you'd like someone to come and speak at your school about our projects in Iraq, Afghanistan, DRC and Uganda then drop us a line at schools@warchild.org.uk
