No child should be part of war. Ever.

Around the world, children’s lives continue to be torn apart by terrifying fighting. The trauma of war can last a lifetime. Many children living in countries like Ukraine, the occupied Palestinian territory, Syria and Democratic Republic of Congo have lived through nightmares that no child should ever have to experience. 

War Child is dedicated to reaching the most vulnerable children and our local staff work tirelessly in some of the most dangerous places in the world. Often they put their own lives at risk to get children the life-saving aid and mental health support they so desperately need.  

Soho House Festival and War Child are working together to raise awareness and vital funds to support children caught up in armed conflicts around the world. How a monthly donation from you changes lives

Regular monthly gifts are an incredible way to support children living through conflict, both now and into the future. Your donations will mean we can provide life-saving aid when conflict breaks out, and stay to support children through their recovery - keeping them safe, helping them cope with their experiences, learn, and equip them with skills for the future. For 30 years, we've been driven by a single goal - for no child's life to be torn apart by war. By starting a regular monthly gift for children today, we can be there for vulnerable children living in war zones for as long as they need us.

War Child's work

  • Protect  - We support children’s wellbeing, provide safe spaces for them to play and learn, and get the psychological support they need to process their experiences of conflict. 
  • Educate  - We set up temporary learning spaces, provide catch-up classes, rehabilitate schools damaged by bombs and bullets, and support teachers operating in conflict zones.
  • Support - We provide families with food, cash relief and access to other life-saving essentials and support young people and caregivers with the skills they need to find apprenticeships and employment.
