Overnight, the escalation in Gaza has intensified rapidly. Airstrikes have reached an unprecedented level, virtually all communication lines have been cut off and 125 children have been killed.
In the last 48 hours alone, 553 children have been killed in the Gaza Strip. Amid ongoing airstrikes and a near total siege preventing the free flow of humanitarian aid, War Child is responding where it can with local partners.

We are alarmed by Israel’s call for over a million Palestinians to leave northern Gaza in less than 24 hours. Israel must rescind this order immediately.
