This literature review seeks to understand how climate change is impacting the livelihoods of marginalised groups, using Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Yemen as case studies.

It outlines their concerns regarding the way children and youth are recruited and used by armed groups in the area and the lack of support they receive when they leave. It focuses on what they feel are the causes and consequences, the research they designed and conducted within the community, and their recommendations for change.
