Peace of Mind Foundation and War Child
Founded in 2022, Peace of Mind Foundation was created to spread hope, and provide mental health assistance and psychosocial support to children traumatised by war, violence and forced displacement. The Foundation seeks to find, fund and facilitate front-line organisations treating children affected by conflict through art (and) therapy.
"Peace of Mind Foundation proudly supports War Child in its endeavour to provide assistance to children living in war zones. Together, we strive to make a difference for children and their communities, in the Central African Republic and beyond." Lea Zoric, Director of the Peace of Mind Foundation
Funding from Peace of Mind Foundation has enabled War Child to launch the War Child Football Club programme in the Central African Republic. War Child FC utilises the power of football to address the psychosocial needs of young people affected by conflict.
The project in CAR targets girls and boys formerly associated with armed forces and groups, those who have survived sexual and gender-based violence, and children who have been separated from their families. We are thankful to be able to consider Peace of Mind Foundation an ally and partner in our mission to ensure the mental health and wellbeing of every child living through war.
